About the creator

RLCS Draft is built by someone who actually sat in the coach's chair.

RLCS Draft is made by Reece "RamS" Mullins, who has spent the best part of a decade in and around the Rocket League Championship Series scene. Over that time he's worn just about every hat — playing, subbing, coaching, managing, analysis, casting and business development — but, by his own reckoning, most importantly as a fan. That fan's-eye view is exactly what this game is built on.

After competing as a player in 2017–2018, Reece moved onto the staff side and spent roughly five years (2018–2023) coaching and managing a string of European rosters.

Coaching career

Over those years he coached or managed teams including Top Blokes, SMPR Esports, Luminosity Gaming, Veloce Esports, Triple Trouble, The Bricks, Boulevard and Happy Burritos. The highlight was the RLCS Season X run with Top Blokes, where the team won the Winter EU Regional Event 2 (2020) and reached the final of an earlier Fall regional — a standout result for the roster that season. He later guided SMPR Esports to a regional podium finish in the 2021–22 season before stepping back from competition in 2023.

That stretch also earned him recognition from the wider community as a Rocket League Esports "Coach of the Year" pick (2020) — the in-joke behind his card in this very game, where RamS appears as a shiny "the goat" coach. (Drafting yourself a 100-rated coach is a creator's privilege.)

Why he built RLCS Draft

Coaching is, at its core, an endless roster-building exercise: who fits with whom, who peaks when, and what the best possible lineup would look like if the usual constraints didn't apply. RLCS Draft is that instinct turned into a game — a way for any fan to argue the all-time-great debates by actually building the team and sending it to Worlds. The ratings methodology leans on that competitive background, and the whole project is a love letter to the scene Reece spent years inside.

Get in touch

Reece is most reachable through the game's Discord community — for rating debates, bug reports, feature ideas, or just to tell him his coach card is overrated.
